Jackie Kelly, Group Buying Director of Heatons Dept. Stores set the scene for the day by taking us through the life cycle of a season and highlighting the key information that a buyer needs for great performance. Mark Sexton, Head of Finance and Business Development of Impact Training and formerly Finance Director of The Kilkenny Group, brought his wealth of knowledge and outlined the process and cost of collecting this buyer information. Jerry Buckley, CEO of Radius Technologies gave us a flashback to a time before technology assets were structured. Pam Kelly, Senior Merchandise Manager of Heatons Dept. Stores spoke to us about best practice buying. John Hogan, Chief Data Scientist of Real World Retail introduced a cloud solution which uses always on data analytics to support your buying and merchandise planning process.
