It was a fun-filled quarter of events. Plenty of the team were out and about educating audiences on the power of data and learning more about our industries so we can continue to deliver actionable solutions to real time problems.
Auto Retail Network
25th April, Birmingham
Neil and Laura took off on the red eye flight to Birmingham to attend an Auto Retail Network event. The event theme covered ‘New thinking and Best Practice in Used Car Operations’. In an environment of falling new car sales, every used car department needs to up their game as senior directors are under increasing pressure to improve performance. The content of presentations from AutoTrader, Jardine Motor Group, and Fords of Windsford, to name a few, spanned residuals, parts, KPIs, pricing and finance.
AIM
26th April, Leicester
John presented to a closed session of 100 AIM members which highlighted what was facing pharmacy with the pressures of Category M and Concessions. He received an outstanding response from the audience. We keep up to date on external factors that affect our customer’s business so that we can develop new modules that address this change and help customers make informed actions for their business. Category M and Concessions is a perfect example of this.
PharmacyForum
2nd-4th May, Marbella
We attended this year with the new title of Data Partner. Conall and Adele traveled to the beautiful Marbella to spend quality time with many of our customers and leaders of other pharmacy groups. PharmacyForum brings the best in retail pharmacy together to network, share ideas and meet with companies that can help improve their business. Conall’s presentation focused on ‘Getting on top of Category M & Concessions’. In 2017 the claw-back from Category M was significant, and in many cases, it wasn’t accrued for by pharmacy groups. There is little point looking at CAT M without looking at the effects of Concessions, so we bring these together. This view will have a profound effect on cash flow planning, so we felt it was vital that we cover it.
Retail Retreat
15th-16th May, Citywest
Pam and Laura attended Retail Excellence Ireland’s Retail Retreat. The stand was right by the entrance to the event so they were super busy over the two days. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about how they could be utilising their data to improve their business.

Staff Relay
24th May, Pheonix Park
Real World’s ‘Data Dashers’ took part in the Dublin Staff Relay series. The relay requires five team members to run 5km each in the beautiful surroundings of Pheonix Park. Our Director John captained the team of Bogdan, William, Neil, and Stephen. The whole company was there to support and cheer on the runners. It was a great event enjoyed by all and the ladies have promised to enter a team next year too. Staff Relay will definitely be an annual tradition for our company.
