It has been a busy first half of the year with multiple customer meetings and events taking place across the UK and Ireland. Check out some highlights from our events so far.
Strategic Customer Meeting (Republic of Ireland)
We held our annual gathering of owners and senior executives of the leading pharmacy groups in Ireland in the Kingswood Hotel on Wednesday 27th March.
These meetings give our customers a great opportunity to connect with each other and to have open discussions about the RWA Pharmacy Solution and the wider industry. Helen Taylor and Niamh Doyle from McLernons joined the meeting as RWA’s exclusive PMR partner in Ireland to facilitate discussions related to data access.
We introduced our new developments including a new solution interface for easier navigation, we worked through our margin growth checklist and identified new benchmarking opportunities among the customer network.
We also designed an Executive Dashboard which offers all of your important business metrics on one page like item growth, sales and margin growth, stock and risk management. Customer input is so valuable and there was a great response on the day.

Charting New Waters with Data
Senior pharmacy executives joined us in Manchester to discuss the opportunities for community pharmacy in the NHS Long Term Plan. Industry professionals presented content ranging from the NHS’s past promises to community pharmacy, challenging the widely held belief that locally commissioned services are too hard to do, and reminding the attendees that we have not moved to a service model yet and it is important to make sure you are paid correctly!
The presentations generated many questions from our audience and the day was very interactive.

Car Dealer Expo
Team Auto set off to Car Dealer Expo (CDX) to exhibit at our first automotive conference in the UK. The conference offered workshops, live stage presentations, and panels.

Our Marketing Manager, Laura, attended SalesForce’s first ever Basecamp event in Dublin. SalesForce are well known for putting on great conferences like DreamForce, and their reputation was not damaged in Dublin.
Each of SalesForce’s main products had a dedicated stand with demos flowing continuously with opportunity to ask questions at any time. The conversational style of the demos allowed for a very relaxed atmosphere.
There were breakout stages to further demonstrate the SalesForce core products and add-ons, and of course, the main stage loaded with customer success stories.
Overall, it was a very informative conference with something for every attendee.
